All born again believers are part of the body of Christ; their sins are forgiven, they are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and each member of the body has been given a gift by God. We must be diligent not to "body shame" other members because when we do that, we persecute the Lord. Rather, let us encourage one other to good works, rejoicing in their victories as our own, and weeping with one another when someone else is hurt. This is Christ's love on the earth ... welcome to, the church!

The Lord's Supper was instituted during the final Passover that Jesus participated in with His disciples. The early church in Corinth, however, had forgotten the point of the Lord's table. They came together for a regular meal, bringing food only for themselves and not for the poor, and causing 'class' division between the rich and the poor. Have you become so used to hearing about seeing revival, fearing God, praying for lost souls, or seeing Jesus' love move today in our land that, in actuality, you don't really care about these things anymore? In God's churches, there are both bad traditions and good traditions. Sometimes we can take good traditions or traditions that are 'non essential', and make them mandatory for all believers. Or, sometimes we can take cultural traditions (head coverings for women, for instance) from the Bible and try to import them unnecessarily into the modern age. Ultimately, no matter what our stance is on traditions - we must never forget to always stand for truth which never changes!
