True joy comes does not occur because of ever changing circumstances. Instead, true joy comes from a vibrant connection with Christ. The inner feeling of joy helps us to know that God is always with us through all seasons of our lives. Once we are saved, we can never be permanently lost; God always keeps His own in His loving hands. God wants your joy to be full; how can that be so? The people who believed the gospel because of Paul were thrown to lions for the entertainment of others, but they stayed faithful to Jesus because it’s important.
