Paul said at the end of his ministry, he finished the course and he fought the good fight of faith. At the end of 2024, can we say that? Have we not been weary in well doing? Are we fulfilling what the Lord has specifically (not generically) called me to do? Or, am I allowing my past to keep me from moving on to deeper and greater exploits for the LORD? The purpose of the birth of Christ was not for Him to stay as a child or to stay in our minds only for the duration of Christmas. The reason Jesus came was because we were all under bondage; bondage to sin and bondage to the penalty of the law. Through Jesus, we can receive adoption as sons and daughters of God; and if we are His children through faith in Jesus, let's tell others what truly is 'the reason for the season!'
