All Christians are called to ministry; not just an 'occupation' to keep us busy in the world. Rather, a ministry of eternal value: the souls of the lost. When the Lord returns in glory, we will be judged on whether we did His work. May He say 'Well done, good and faithful servant!'
There is no other book like the Bible; spanning 66 books, 40 authors, and 1500 years, there is no other book as trustworthy as God's book. We must teach our youngster's its contents so they may have a holy, wise, and faithful life before our enemy can get to their hearts and mind.
Believers need to prepare for difficult days ahead; in fact, they have already come upon us. Even though people will become prideful, disobedient, committing unholy deeds, or even turning on their very own family - keep your heart centered on the Lord who is our only Hope and all Sufficient Savior!
If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, He has something for you to do that will give him honor and glory through your vocation. If you find out where the Lord wants you, that's where you can work for Him. Ultimately, we work for God not because we have to, but because we want to build up fellow believers and bring others into the Kingdom of God!
How can we protect ourselves from bad teachings, Satan's deceptions, or false prophets from turning us away from God? By remembering who Jesus is and what He did for us, and by being diligent to always listen and do God's will!
The Apostle Paul tells his protégé, Timothy, to be strong in the grace of Christ Jesus and to finish the race strong by committing truth to others. He gives three illustrations of enduring hardships: the soldier, the athlete, and the farmer. Each of them teach us how to persevere unto the end.
We need to be ashamed of sin; we must *not* be ashamed of our Savior. Whether it be among family members or people we work with, they should always see that our allegiance is always to the One who died for the world!

All believers have gifts given by God in service for the Lord; we also have a purpose given to us for building up the Kingdom. Sometimes, we allow our fears to disable us from His work; but we have not been given the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind!
The future Day of the Lord will come upon those who have not trusted Christ as Savior; the trials of this life pale in comparison to the troubles that are up ahead. Yet for believers, they will be taken before the wrath of God commences; believe today on Jesus for eternal life!
