What to ExpectWe would love to worship with you this Sunday! When you arrive, please be seated, and be prepared for several of our friendly people to introduce themselves and welcome you to our services. During the service there is also a time of greeting. Everyone is encouraged to bring their Bible (but if you forget it, we have one in the pews for you). Oh, and bring an open heart, allowing Jesus to touch it in His own special, quiet way.

Music Style |
We come together to worship Almighty God. We believe worship should reflect God's glory, and not satisfy human emotion. We appreciate the old fashioned Hymns as well as some of the newer songs, accepting both as a breath of fresh air for those who love the Lord and desire to worship Him. We understand, however, that the worship of God's people must be different from the world. Therefore, we try to choose musical selections that are conservative in presentation and consistent with the topic that will be preached on the day.

What else should I know? |
There is no specific dress code. The pastor wears a suit; some men wear a tie; some ladies wear dresses; but most dress in modest, casual attire.
Our Adult Sunday School hour is interactive; our Sunday morning sermon is usually verse by verse or topical preaching from the Word of God. We encourage everyone to follow along in their Bibles, so for consistency, we use the King James Version of the Bible. On a typical afternoon service, we select favorite hymns to sing for half an hour followed by an interactive Bible study based on the morning message. Our Wednesday Evening Prayer and Bible study consists of short singing, lots of praying for each other as we ask the Lord for help in our times of need, and an interactive expositional study of God's word! (Interactive means questions are encouraged, and you can share what the Holy Spirit has taught you about the Scripture passage.) We have other ministries we'd love to introduce you to; no matter who you are, we'd love the opportunity to meet you, worship with you, pray with you, and fellowship.
