“This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.” James 3:15-16 KJV
The difference between the wisdom of man and the wisdom of God is simply amazing. God's wisdom does not cause us to do wrong or hurt other people. God's wisdom holds us together. On the other hand, following the wisdom of common, contemporary thinking leads us away from our loving Father. In some instances, worldly wisdom may cause us to want to get angry with people every time they don't agree with us; then we wonder why there is confusion and hurt.

But how do we know if we are on the right track of finding this wisdom? We know because it is pure, merciful, and peaceful. Someone who has God's wisdom will admit when they are wrong to their friends and ask Christ to show them the right way to live. This wisdom will also help us to see that we aren't born perfect, but we can learn how to sin less by being God's friend! All this was made possible because God sent His only Son to die for our sins on the cross. Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?

But when we following after Him, God's peace will comfort us in times of trouble and bring a quiet spirit into our lives; we will fall in love with Him in all humility.
