33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:33-34

Above all, seek the Lord; make Him a priority. It’s the first thing we should do when we awaken; give glory and honor to Him through prayer and then seek after Him by reading a faithful Bible translation, the King James Bible. As we make Jesus a priority, then He promises He will give to us all He has in store.
God is a God of Today; in fact, He is eternal and everlasting. You can’t change what happened yesterday, and you have very little control over the things that will happen tomorrow. Don’t worry about the “to do list” of Monday, or you will ruin your Sunday. While planning on retirement is a good and worthy task in taking care of yourself and family, don’t let it consume you because we have no guarantees of tomorrow. Enjoy today and live in the now.
How can you begin or renew your journey with Him? Pick up your Bible and begin reading it as if your spiritual life depended on it ---> because it does! Just like a fish needs water to live and just like humans need love to survive, so too – a Christian needs his Bible to seek after God’s heart. For each command we come upon in the Bible, we should obey not because it is a list of do’s and don’t; we should follow God’s command because every command from the LORD is an expression of His faithful heart to us. We want to be faithful to Him because He has been faithful to us; He will never leave you or forsake you, so don’t leave or forsake Him!
